BUZESTY HIT instrument other than a cheque, is presented for
/ stamping with an impressed stamp, the 2nd, shroft makesS
out a requisition on a printed form (if one is not sent
with the instrument) and after it has been signed by the
person applying for stamps,attaches it to the instrument.
lawyers and other persons who are constantly having in-
struments stamped, keep a stock of requisition forms in
their offices, which are supplied free of charge by the
; Government.

The instrument with the requisition attached
is then passed to the Chief Clerk, who examines the in-
{ strument» initials the requisition, if correct, and pass-
es it to the Head Shroff, who receives the money, initials
the requisition and passes it back to the and, Shroff.
The 2nd. Shroff then affixes an Adhes te label
or labels of the proper value to the instrument, and pass-
!es it to the Pressman, who impresses the label or labels
with a stamp of correspondéng value, in such a way that
part of the impression falls on the label.
The denominations of the adhesive labels are as
